We wanted a great family vacation in Thailand. We decided to fly to Phuket. We spent a long time choosing where to go, as our time was limited—vacation isn’t six months long! We chose the two-day sea excursion from Phuket to the Phi Phi archipelago. Our guide turned out to be cool; he spoke our native language. It was great to understand what he was saying instead of listening to an unfamiliar language! We chose the early transfer; we wanted to see the great views more than sleep. We started early in the morning, and they picked us up from the hotel in a minibus. After about an hour’s drive, we were brought to the pier. We had a tasty bite to eat—sandwiches and fruit. The first part of our Phi Phi excursion was Maya Bay. It’s a genuinely amazing place. I didn’t even know the movie with a young DiCaprio was filmed here. Then we had a sea walk near Bida Nai and Bida Nok islands and took great pictures from the boat. Incidentally, I didn’t get seasick at all! We liked the stop at Pileh Lagoon and the Viking Cave even more. Cool drawings inside by ancient sailors or someone resembling them! Because the excursion started early, there weren’t too many people; I guess people really love to sleep in. But it worked out well for us; my wife and I prefer this style of vacation when there are fewer people. I rate the vacation five out of five because we not only saw great places but also went diving—it was my first time seeing sea turtles underwater. Will I book again? Of course. Next year, I probably won’t want to revisit the same place twice; we’ll try a more packed itinerary on Surin.

We wanted more romance, to see animals, swim, and snorkel—we didn’t opt for full diving, but this great vacation on the Surin Islands was enough for us. What should be specially noted here? Overall, the coordinated work of the travel company team. They picked us up from the hotel, brought us back, offered us food, even breakfast! My husband and I specifically chose a quiet place with fewer tourists. And we largely succeeded in achieving this on the Surin Islands. Unlike other places we’ve visited, there isn’t so much infrastructure here, but we didn’t need it—we just wanted to walk along the snow-white beaches, sit, and bask in the sun, and of course, we needed photos! We traveled in October, and the rain didn’t catch us, which made us very happy. We visited different bays—Mai Ngam, Tao—and walked along the coastline to our heart’s content. Our vacation on Surin is memorable for its simplicity—nothing ostentatious, no big shops, no noisy crowds. My rating for this place and the service is a solid 10 out of 10!
We hung out in Phuket last year and decided to explore new locations. We chose sea excursions to Racha Yai and Racha Noi islands. We had been to Phi Phi and Coral Island two years prior, so we decided to change locations every trip to keep things more interesting. This company offered a fantastic tour that included insurance, meals (we ate several times), and a transfer back to our accommodation—this time we decided to stay in a nearby hotel. My husband tried fishing; yes, it’s not cheap, but it was worth it. And what photos we got against the backdrop of the azure bays! We visited Patok Bay beach; it turned out to be quite long, with few people, and we stopped at a little restaurant. It was my first time seeing tropical fish underwater—remember the cartoon “Finding Nemo”? We saw something similar, my husband and I! Time flew by so fast that it was actually a bit sad to leave. Well, hopefully, we’ll return next year and try heading to the Similan Islands. I rate the company positively: there was an English and Russian speaking guide, food, insurance, no issues with payment or transfers.
A group of 4 friends decided to relax in Phuket. We had been to different places before, even the Dominican Republic, but decided to try something new. We chose to start with a vacation on the Phi Phi Islands. As it turned out later, it’s not one island but several small ones. We chose the early excursion and then slept on the way back. It goes without saying—this place is quite awesome: crystal-clear blue and transparent water, lots of underwater inhabitants, beaches, lagoons, and bays. All this passed before our eyes and left unforgettable emotions. Regarding the service: communication with the manager was always maintained, payment was fast via the Faster Payment System (SBP) from our Mir card, and the transfer was free (the cost was included in the excursion). We swam in the bay, swam some more, and snorkeled—we loved it. Next year, we plan to go there again because we want to try diving with an instructor.
